Meghan Markle’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, appears to be facing an uncertain future after failing to enter the top 10 most streamed shows of the week, according to the latest Netflix ratings. Industry insiders and betting markets now suggest that the show could be cancelled after just two seasons, marking a significant setback for the Duchess of Sussex’s foray into lifestyle programming.
Joe Lyons, spokesperson for Pundit Arena, confirmed that the odds point toward the series ending after its second season. “Following reports that With Love, Meghan is under review by Netflix, the odds suggest we may have already seen the final season. Attention is now shifting to what Meghan does next,” he stated. Lyons also highlighted potential avenues for Markle’s future, including a memoir, which is currently the market favorite, entering the world of fashion, or even returning to acting, though all remain speculative at this stage.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the series, Meghan is set to feature in a holiday special titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, scheduled for release this December. Archewell Productions, her production company, described the program as a “magical holiday celebration” set in Montecito, featuring friends and family preparing festive meals, creating heartfelt gifts, and sharing seasonal traditions designed for viewers to enjoy at home. The special will follow the second season of her lifestyle series, although confirmation of a third season remains pending.
When the show debuted, it achieved notable success, entering the Global Top 10 TV list and reaching the top 10 in 24 countries. During the first half of 2025, it amassed 5.3 million views, making it Netflix’s most-watched culinary show since its release. Meghan’s collaboration with Netflix, which began in 2020 through Archewell Productions, has spanned documentaries, scripted series, films, sports, and lifestyle programming.
This year, Meghan has also focused on her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in partnership with Netflix, launching a variety of products including flower sprinkles, fruit spreads, and wine, further expanding her presence in lifestyle and consumer markets. The coming months are expected to clarify whether Markle’s television career will continue on the streaming platform or pivot to other ventures.
