The atmosphere in Jeddah reached a boiling point during the Real Madrid Super Cup clash. Fans across the globe watched as Xabi Alonso led his determined team into battle. This victory provides much needed relief for the manager after a very tense month. Real Madrid secured a hard fought two to one win against their local rivals. Fede Valverde and Rodrygo scored the vital goals to ensure their place in Sunday. The victory sets up a massive final against Barcelona in a highly anticipated match.

Real Madrid took the lead in the second minute of this incredible football game. Gonzalo Garcia controlled a long ball perfectly for Jude Bellingham in the early stages. Conor Gallagher challenged him but the referee quickly awarded a free kick to Madrid. Fede Valverde stepped up and struck a powerful shot from twenty five yards out. The ball flew past the wall and into the net with incredible precision. This early goal gave Real Madrid the momentum they needed for the difficult match.

Atlético Madrid responded with great intensity and took control of the ball very quickly. They pressured the Real Madrid defense but struggled to find a clear scoring path. Alex Baena almost found Julian Alvarez but the defense remained very solid and firm. Sorloth had an effort go over the bar while Alvarez saw his shot blocked. Giuliano showed great speed but he slipped as he entered the penalty area today. Real Madrid relied on Garcia to hold the ball up against the opposing team.

Just before the half hour mark Real Madrid almost doubled their narrow lead here. Alvaro Carreras started a fast break before passing the ball to the talented Rodrygo. Rodrygo cut inside the area and left the defender sliding on the grass surface. However his final shot was weak and Jan Oblak saved it quite easily then. Vinicius also missed a header from close range shortly after that specific missed chance. Atlético continued to push forward while Real Madrid struggled to keep the ball away.

The left side of the Madrid defense faced constant pressure from Llorente and Giuliano. Carreras found himself isolated as Atlético moved the ball with great speed and skill. Thibaut Courtois made a stunning save from Baena to keep the narrow lead intact. He then denied a powerful header from Sorloth at the near post very well. Sorloth missed another golden opportunity from five yards out just moments after that save. The pressure from Atlético was growing as the first half drew to a close.

Courtois remained the hero as he saved a toe end shot from Alex Baena. The rebound fell to Alvarez but Antonio Rudiger blocked the shot with his body. Gallagher missed the final chance of the half as his shot went wide left. Real Madrid survived ten shots and kept their lead as they headed for rest. The second half began with the same intense pattern of play from both sides. A sharp pass from Valverde found Rodrygo who escaped his marker with great ease. Fans are eagerly anticipating how Real Madrid will maintain their momentum in the Real Madrid Super Cup. Every player showed determination to secure the win as the match continued with relentless energy. The defending champions pushed forward aggressively, creating multiple chances, demonstrating why they are favourites in the Real Madrid Super Cup showdown.

Rodrygo steered a neat finish past Oblak to make the score two to zero. It seemed the game was over but Atlético found a way back very soon. Giuliano and Llorente combined well to beat Vinicius on the wing during the play. Giuliano clipped a cross to the far post where Sorloth headed the ball in. There was still an hour left and the match was wide open again. Alonso had to change his tactics to protect the lead in the final.

The manager moved Bellingham to the left to help the struggling defensive unit there. Rudiger and Raul Asencio were forced off due to injuries during the tough match. Tchouaméni moved to center back while Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy entered the game. Vinicius left the pitch after failing to score in sixteen consecutive games for Madrid. Diego Simeone gestured to the crowd while Alonso watched the behavior from the touchline. The tension between the two managers was visible to everyone in the stadium.

Tiredness began to affect the players as the clock ticked toward the final whistle. Real Madrid focused on defending their lead while Atlético searched for a late equalizer. Rodrygo missed a great chance to score a third goal for his side today. Oblak made a crucial save to keep his team in the fight until then. Courtois saved an overhead kick from Griezmann as the pressure reached a peak now. Llorente curled a shot just wide of the post in the dying minutes.

Tchouaméni produced a sensational interception to stop Griezmann from scoring a late goal here. In the final seconds Alvarez had a chance but the ball went wide left. Real Madrid held on to win and advance to the next big stage. They will now face Barcelona in what promises to be a legendary final. The players celebrated as the whistle blew to end the intense semi final match. This Real Madrid Super Cup victory marks a turning point for the Spanish giants.

The team showed great resilience under pressure against a very talented and hungry opponent. Alonso has proven his tactical ability by guiding his team through this difficult period. Fans are now looking forward to the El Clasico final on Sunday night soon. The rivalry will be renewed as both teams compete for the first trophy available. Real Madrid has the momentum but Barcelona will provide a very different tactical challenge. This tournament continues to deliver high drama and exceptional football for fans everywhere.

Expert analysis suggests that Madrid must improve their defensive stability before the next big game. Relying on Courtois for so many saves might be risky against a clinical side. However the attacking threat of Rodrygo and Valverde remains a major asset for them. The injuries to Rudiger and Asencio are a concern for the coaching staff tonight. Alonso will need to find a solution for his back line very quickly. The Real Madrid Super Cup journey is far from over for this squad.

Every player contributed to this hard fought victory in the heat of the desert. The young Garcia showed he can step up when the main stars are out. Madrid fans are hopeful that this win sparks a run of good form. The English Chronicle will provide full coverage of the final on Sunday night. Stay tuned for more updates on the health of the injured Madrid players. The stage is set for a classic encounter in the heart of Jeddah.
