A man claiming £15,000 in annual benefits has been accused of shouting racial and xenophobic slurs during an anti-migrant demonstration, prompting condemnation from local officials and campaigners.

Witnesses said the individual, attending a protest in a city centre, directed offensive language at passersby and participants, creating a tense and hostile atmosphere. Several onlookers reported the abuse to organisers and local authorities, who confirmed they were investigating the incident.
