The chain of events began when local officers received a complaint early in March. A woman currently residing in the Republic of Ireland contacted them with serious accusations. She alleged that she was raped and sexually abused while living at that facility. These reported incidents took place throughout the calendar year of twenty twenty-three during her tenure. At the time of these offences, she was an active member of this religious group. Following this formal complaint, police launched a thorough investigation to establish the facts of the case. They acted swiftly to gather evidence and identify those responsible for these very grave crimes.

Following the morning raid, officers proceeded to make a number of arrests involving several men. The identified suspects originate from a diverse range of countries including America, Mexico, Britain, Germany, and Spain. After securing these individuals, police conducted an extensive search of the premises to find more evidence. This thorough search operation remained ongoing as officials worked to secure the sprawling, grade two listed building. The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light represents a niche sect with very unusual core beliefs. Their ideology blends specific Islamic tenets with bizarre conspiracy theories regarding the Illuminati and alien control. Followers hold the firm belief that their leader possesses incredible powers beyond those of normal human beings. They claim he can cure the sick and even cause the moon to simply disappear from sight. About one hundred and fifty people live together in this large, historic building located in Crewe. Numerous other followers reside in different parts of the town and scattered throughout countries across the globe.

Chief Superintendent Gareth Wrigley addressed the media to explain the nature of this complex police operation. He confirmed that the force was not yet able to provide an exact total of arrests. He stressed that the current investigation focuses specifically on individual suspects rather than the religious group itself. The police aim to proceed with fairness while upholding the highest standards of justice for all victims. Particular concerns have been raised regarding the welfare of many vulnerable children living within the property. It is currently understood that fifty-six children reside at the headquarters and participate in home schooling. Chief Superintendent Wrigley confirmed that his force is working closely with local partners to provide necessary support.
